Lightroom 5 can create smaller versions of these files, called Smart Previews; if you're disconnected from the source images then you can work on the Smart Previews, instead; and when you reconnect, the program can reapply all your edits to the original pictures.
Elsewhere, more capable photo book creation includes book templates which you can customise to suit your needs.
And it's now possible to combine video clips, images and music to produce your very own HD video slideshow.

- Synced collections now show a more prominent share button at the top of the Toolbar. This allows you to quickly share your synced collection with friends, family, and clients using Lightroom web
- Comments and likes left on Lightroom web now sync to the Lightroom desktop catalog. Comments and Likes will be shown in the 'Comment' panel for synced collections.
- Images with comments and likes will display a badge indicating that there are comments and a colored badge to indicate that there are unread comments.
It doesn't look like a major update, but Lightroom 5 has still gained some very welcome new features
UPDATE.(Nov 2018): Lightroom made this a MILLION times more easy with their latest update. So before you do anything else, make sure you're updated!

You guys! I just released my new presets! If you've just downloaded them and you're looking at the (super unfamiliar) .xmp file and can't figure out how to import them the way you're used to, don't be discouraged – we did the same thing – and failed. haha. SO we battled our way into Google and found the answer! THEN THAT DIDN'T WORK, so I called Adobe and got the answer straight from them. If you have any issues with setup, let me know ASAP- I want to help it get sorted and brainstorm with you!

Lightroom CC 1.4 and Classic 7.3 had a major upgrade in April 2018. It is Adobe's answer to Presets that are interchangeable with LR and Adobe Camera Raw in Photoshop. It's awesome! BUT also, there's a new system for inserting presets.
Elsewhere, more capable photo book creation includes book templates which you can customise to suit your needs.

Download Lightroom 5.7 1 Macro
1. Update your LR to the current version! Upgrade to version LR CC 1.4 and Classic 7.3. or newer. And while you're at it, I THINK Adobe is requiring your computer to be updated too.

2. Then, download the presets and unzip the folder (Your computer might do this automatically)

3. Copy the .xmp preset files into your USER PRESETS folder.

- On Mac, the preset directory for the new Lightroom CC is ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Lightroom CC/Develop Presets/
- On Windows, the preset directory for the new Lightroom CC is C:/Users/{you}/AppData/Roaming/Adobe/Lightroom CC/Develop Presets/
- Add your presets under User presets folder
